Blame the crowd
Is it fair to blame it on the crowd when a concert is not going well? "you can dance now" were the last words by the drummer of thieves like us. I just had on phrase for you " You can start now".
Besides the inicial anger, I have to admit I like Pontus Berghe the most. He is the only one that looks like the music they play.

Thieves Like Us - Your Heart Feels - video
Thieves like you and me
Thieves Like Us – Hoje no Plano B
Os thieves like us ficaram conhecidos em 2007. Nada.

Roxy Music - Manifesto
What can be said when it comes to talk about Sir Bryan Ferry?! Everything was already said and written. Girls cried & boys died. As for me, There’s this song that I just can’t get enough of. It is playing in my head for the last couple of weeks... There’s something about it that makes my life so much easier. And it goes like this:
That takes you by surpreise
That comes leaves all you need
And more besides
I am for a life and time by numbers
Blast in fast ‘n’ low
Add ‘em up, account for luck
You never know
I am into friendship and plain sailing
Through frenzied ports o´call
O shake the hand to beat the band
With love is all
Or nothing to the man who wants tomorrow
There´s one in every town
A crazy guy, he´d rather die
Than be tied down
I am for the man who drives the hammer
To rock you ‘til the grave
His power drill shocks
A million miles away
I am for the revolution’s coming
I don´t know where she’s been
For those who dare because it’s there
I know I´ve seen
Now and then I’ve suffered imperfection
I’ve studied marble flaws
And faces drawn pale and worn
By many tears
I am that I am from out out of nowhere
To fight without a cause
Roots strain against the grain
With brute force you’d better
Hold out when you’re in doubt
Question what you see
And when you find an answer
Bring it home to me.”

The once “Glamour on Legs”
When we think about Kurt Cobaine or Jim Morrison and their premature death we suffer but eventually get over it. They are death and there´s nothing we can do about it. They didn´t turn their back on music, their lives just turn their back on them. But again, when we think about Syd Barett, a walking talent (until last 2k6) that gave up all his stardom at age 24 is very hard to understand.
He surely had Lucy in the Skies with Dynamites instead of Diamonds but is it fair to blame it all on mental sanity? I have seen a lot of cocky people doing incredible stuff! I don´t want to believe that my life is over if I start seeing people and hearing voices (which will probably happen). It´s sad and curious at the same time. Fortunately, the greatest thing about music is that it never dies , let´s just put repeat 10 x on “See Emily plays” .
This was meant to be a Pink Floyd post and now is just a No-color floid!

Trisomie 21 - The Last Song
I laughed for 30 seconds.
